Traditional.

I love the traditional styles but as you can see, I take liberties with interpretation. The round plate had is inspiration in illuminated manuscripts, as did the perpetual calendar at the top. The small chest at the bottom shows the influence of stump work embroidery. The bird tray was painted in this manner solely because I didn’t want to cover the beautiful grain of the oak
